Hailed as the most ‘splendid in the world’, the annual event celebrates a steam powered universe in the late 19th century and attracts visitors from all over the globe. Look out for The Troll, a fierce and friendly giant that will be let loose on the streets of Lincoln between 29 – 30 August. This inquisitive character is on the lookout for company and is ready to play… On 31 August, Albot the Robot arrives into the city. Albot is probably the first ever Victorian robot. He is a genuine robot with no human parts and stands at over 2 metres tall. Street Theatre acts are on walkabout 12noon –4.30pm.
